Gerunds and Infinitives

Gerunds and Infinitives are formed from verbs. Gerunds and Infinitives act like nouns. (substantivos)
A gerund is a verb + verb + ing. An infinitive is verb + to + verb
The boy enjoys eating the pie. I try to study English
El chico disfruta comiendo la pizza Yo trato de estudiar Ingles
A gerund can be a subject (activity). An infinitive can be a subject. (activity)
Swimming is fun To swim is fun.
NO X Nadando es divertido NO X Nadar es divertido.
Our lessons will focus primarily on verbs that precede (come before) infinitives
and gerunds when they are used as objects in a sentence. If you don't
understand these concepts " don't worry. " Be happy - It's easy!"

We will study only # I, # II & # III for now.

In rule # I we can use either Gerund or Infinitive.
