                                      Gerunds and Infinitives

_________________________________________________________________________________

Gerunds and Infinitives are formed from verbs. Gerunds and Infinitives act like nouns. (substantivos)

A gerund is a  verb + verb + ing.                   An infinitive is verbto + verb

The boy  enjoys  eating  the pie.                      I  try  to study English

El chico disfruta comiendo la pizza                   Yo trato de estudiar Ingles

A gerund can be a subject (activity).              An infinitive can be a subject. (activity)

Swimming  is  fun                                               To swim is fun.

NO X  Nadando es divertido NO X                            Nadar es divertido.

Our lessons will focus primarily on verbs that precede (come before) infinitives

and gerunds when they are used as objects in a sentence. If you don't

                   understand these concepts " don't worry. " Be happy - It's easy!"

(No se preocupa. Con Gary este concepts son muy facil !!!!!!!)

We will study only # I, # II & # III  for now.
